To download Merdial, create a free workspace and open Settings, then Desktop app — the Windows installer and the macOS disk image are both there. The app needs Windows 10 or later, or macOS 14.2 or later. There is no Linux client.
Four steps to your first coached call

Create a free workspace. No card, and nothing to talk to sales about.

Open Settings, then Desktop app, and pick the Windows or macOS build.
- Step 3Sign in
Sign in to the app and choose the account you are calling for.
- Step 4Call
Dial as you normally do. The transcript and coaching cards just appear.

There is no Linux client. A legacy Chrome extension exists, but the desktop app is the supported way to capture calls.

Yes. The Merdial desktop app for Windows 10+ and macOS 14.2+ captures the call audio on your computer — any dialler, softphone or meeting app — so it works beside whatever you already use, with no webhook or API key to set up.
Is there a Linux version?
No. The desktop app runs on Windows 10 or later and macOS 14.2 or later.
Where is the download link?
Inside your workspace, under Settings then Desktop app. Creating a workspace is free and does not need a card.
Does Merdial work on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls?
Yes. Merdial captures the call wherever it happens — a dialler, a softphone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet — and transcribes, coaches and scores it the same way.
What happens to card numbers said out loud on a call?
They are stripped, along with other personal identifiers, before the transcript reaches any generative model. That redaction is not optional and cannot be turned off to simplify a prompt.
