Connect Pipedrive once and Merdial keeps it current: every scored call, approved lead and booked meeting lands in Pipedrive, and what your team edits in Pipedrive comes back to Merdial.
Connect Pipedrive
You need to be the owner of the Merdial workspace, and a Pipedrive user who can install apps.
- In Merdial, open Settings → Connectors, click the Pipedrive tile, then Connect.
- Sign in to Pipedrive, choose the company, and click Allow and install.
- You land back in Merdial and the Pipedrive tile reads Connected. Nothing older is copied across: syncing starts with the next scored call, approved lead and booked meeting.
HubSpot too?
A workspace can connect HubSpot and Pipedrive at the same time; both receive everything. What syncs
| In Merdial | In Pipedrive | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| An approved lead | A person (matched by email, then phone; created if new), its organization, and a deal | Merdial → Pipedrive |
| Every lead-form field | Name, email, phone, organization and job title in Pipedrive’s own fields. Any other field gets a custom person field named “<field> (Merdial)”, created the first time it has a value | Both ways |
| A scored call | A completed call activity on the person and deal, with the Merdial score, outcome, rep and summary | Merdial → Pipedrive |
| A booked meeting | A meeting activity on the person and deal; moving it or recording an outcome updates it, and won or lost closes the deal | Merdial → Pipedrive |
| Person edits | Name, email, phone and every Merdial custom field flow back to the lead within 5 minutes | Pipedrive → Merdial |
| A deal won or lost in Pipedrive | Suggests the outcome on the Merdial meeting within 5 minutes. A person confirms it; it never overwrites one already recorded | Pipedrive → Merdial |
What never leaves Merdial
Call recordings and transcripts stay in Merdial. Pipedrive receives the score and the summary, and the summary is written from a transcript that already had card numbers, bank details and other sensitive data removed.A call is logged only when Pipedrive has a person with that phone number, or the call produced an approved lead. If the person is added later, the call follows within 5 minutes. Each activity and deal is owned by the Pipedrive user whose email matches the Merdial rep.
Permissions Merdial asks for
| Pipedrive permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Contacts: full access | Find and update the person a call was with; create persons and organizations |
| Contact fields: full access | Create the “(Merdial)” custom person fields for lead-form fields Pipedrive does not have |
| Deals: full access | Create a deal for each approved lead and close it when a meeting is won or lost |
| Activities: full access | Log calls and meetings |
| Search: read | Find the person by email or phone |
| Users: read | Assign each record to the matching Pipedrive user |
Merdial does not ask to administer your account. That is why changes made in Pipedrive reach Merdial within 5 minutes rather than instantly.
Disconnect
The workspace owner clicks the Pipedrive tile in Settings → Connectors, then Disconnect. Merdial revokes its access and stops syncing at once. Nothing is deleted from Pipedrive.
Troubleshooting
- The tile says Reconnect. Pipedrive withdrew Merdial's access (the app was uninstalled, or the user who connected it lost access). Click it, then Reconnect.
- A call did not appear in Pipedrive. Check Skipped in the Pipedrive dialog: no person had that number. Add the person and the call follows.
