HubSpot integration

Calls, leads, form fields and meetings, both ways. · Last updated 1 October 2026

Connect HubSpot once and Merdial keeps it current: every scored call, approved lead and booked meeting lands in HubSpot, and what your team edits in HubSpot comes back to Merdial. Calls you place from HubSpot start the Merdial desktop app listening by themselves.

Connect HubSpot

You need to be the owner of the Merdial workspace, and a HubSpot user who can install apps.

  1. In Merdial, open Settings → Connectors and click Connect HubSpot.
  2. Sign in to HubSpot, choose the HubSpot account to connect, and click Connect app.
  3. You land back in Merdial and the HubSpot card reads Connected. Nothing older is copied across: syncing starts with the next scored call, approved lead and booked meeting.

Installing from the HubSpot App Marketplace works the same way: HubSpot sends you to Merdial to sign in, you click Finish install, and HubSpot finishes the connection. HubSpot is connected to the Merdial workspace you are in at that moment.

One HubSpot account per workspace

Each Merdial workspace connects to one HubSpot account. Two workspaces can connect to the same HubSpot account.

What never leaves Merdial

Call recordings and transcripts stay in Merdial. HubSpot receives the score and the summary, and the summary is written from a transcript that already had card numbers, bank details and other sensitive data removed.

A call is logged only when HubSpot has a contact with that phone number, or the call produced an approved lead. If the contact is added later, the call syncs by itself. Each HubSpot record is owned by the HubSpot user whose email matches the Merdial rep; with no match it is left unassigned.

Calls placed from HubSpot

  • When you place a call from HubSpot, the Merdial desktop app starts listening and shows who you are calling. Turn this off in the desktop app under Settings → Connectors → Start listening when I call from HubSpot. It is on by default once your workspace is connected.
  • When the call ends in HubSpot, listening stops by itself. This is always on.
  • If you start listening yourself, Merdial looks for the HubSpot call you placed in the last five minutes and names the contact, so the score lands on that same call in HubSpot.

Disconnect

The workspace owner clicks Disconnect on the HubSpot card in Settings → Connectors. Merdial revokes its access and stops syncing at once. Nothing is deleted from HubSpot. Uninstalling Merdial from inside HubSpot has the same effect; the card then shows Reconnect.

Troubleshooting

  • The card says Reconnect. HubSpot withdrew Merdial's access (the app was uninstalled, or the user who connected it lost access). Click Reconnect; nothing that was waiting is lost.
  • A call did not appear in HubSpot. Check the Skipped count: HubSpot had no contact with that number. Add the contact and the call follows within a minute.
  • Failed items. The card shows HubSpot's reason. Fix it in HubSpot, then click Retry failed.
